Bright Brothers Limited was incorporated in the year 1947 at Mumbai. Over the years the company has evolved from a single manufacturing centre for plastic mouldings and plastic injection mouldings to a customer focused multiple manufacturing centers. Hence, Brite's corporate identity aims to synergize the existing goodwill and equity of the Brite brand and translate it into a positive influence on the corporate structure. The Brite logo that has been the identity for customer focus, flexibility, quality and reliability of supply chain for nearly 60 years & has withstood the test of time.

The entire group, with its manufacturing divisions and retail distribution divisions are bound together under the common group identity As the company shapes up for future challenges, the company identity charges us convert a successful past into a glorious future.

Our's is a journey propelled by a dream and the vision of one man, Mr. T. W. Bhojwani. What began as a quiet revolution in a small corner of Bombay (Mumbai) has spread across India. The chronology of events at Brite speaks about its evolution.

On July 11 1947, Bright Brothers Limited, the flagship company of the Brite Group, was established in Mumbai. In a little known material called plastics, the company saw a potential for creating products that were durable, of high quality & had wide ranging applications. Soon, the versatility of plastic caught the fancy of the public and our products like cigarette cases, shopping baskets and umbrella handles started to gain wide acceptance. The rest, as they say, is history.

Every company needs to constantly upgrade its material resources & production methods to keep up with changing times. New technologies were the need of the hour & in 1948 we were the first Indian company to introduce Injection molding technology into our manufacturing operations.

This pioneering approach always was what in 1962 led to our commissioning a state-of-the-art factory at Bombay (Mumbai). As an organization that was established in the year the Indian nation was born, our responsibilities to contribute to national growth had always been more than evident. Brite contributed to the national effort by-setting up a Research and Development division which developed a wide range components for armaments and light weapons for the country's defense.

In 1970, when India was focusing on the Agricultural Sector and the Green Revolution was taking place, the Group was anticipating the Industrial Revolution. We diversified into the manufacture of hi-tech precision industrial products for Original Equipment Manufacturers.

In 1986, Brite Automotive and Plastics Limited, a company specializing in the manufacture of thermoplastic automotive components was set up. The first factory beyond Mumbai at Pithampur, Indore is located in close proximity to the manufacturing units of major automotive manufacturers such as Kinetic, Force Motors and Hindustan Motors.

The Tarapur plant, inaugurated in March 1989, catered to the need of television cabinets manufactured for the growing television industry in India. A 2200T injection-molding machine, one of the largest in India, was installed at this plant in June 1995.

With the 90's came liberalization. New economic policies, new doctrines and the entry of multi-nationals also brought forth the Consumer Revolution. A revolution, which in keeping with worldwide trends, revealed new opportunities for growth.

In 1992, a new plant was set up by the Brite Group at Thirubhuvanai, Pondicherry. It molds sophisticated large parts for washing machines manufactured by Whirlpool of India Ltd. In addition, our plant caters to key customers in the region servicing the white goods and the computer industry.

A very modern plant, located at Sohna, near New Delhi, was inaugurated in 1994. This caters to the automotive requirements of Maruti Udyog Ltd. (a Suzuki Motor Ltd.) and other automotive OEM's in the northern region Honda Motorcycles and Scooters of India.

In 2001, Brite Group firmed up its association with Whirlpool and purchased its plastic division. The high volume plan is capable of producing upwards of fifteen million parts an annum to crater to the consumer durable sector.

To create synergy and consolidate growth in the western region, two plants of Tarapur and Thane were merged into Sanaswadi, Pune in January 2005. This composite plant with injection moulding, Painting, Thermoforming, PU foaming Decorative printing technologies under one roof is expected to lead the company back to its pristine position in western India.

April 2006 saw the start of Brite's latest venture at Sriperambudar, Chennai. This modern plant shall carter to the requirements of automotive giants Hyundai, Ford and Visteon.

Today, the Rs.16.5 billion (2005-06) Brite Group is poised to take on new challenges with the same zeal that built it. We are present in seven cities of India with an employee strength of over 600 people. Our commitment to deliver high quality products that add value and make a difference in every day life & the strong bonds we have with our customers, employees, bankers, collaborators, suppliers, distributors and well wishers has boosted us into the new millennium.
